Lodestar Partners With Leading Financial Services Professional Organizations to Conduct 2017 CFO Forecast Research
Princeton, NJ, November 17, 2017 – Lodestar released research today to three partner organizations seeking to better understand key trends, dynamics, and challenges inside CFO offices of all sizes and industry verticals – Crain’s New York Business, The CFO Alliance, and Financial Executives International.
The research explored the changing role CFOs play inside their organizations, what types of talent and experience they are trying to bring onto their teams, the use of analytics and other advanced decision tools, and how CFOs are dealing with VUCA (volatility, uncertainty, complexity, and ambiguity). The study also captured attitudes and perceptions regarding managing and leveraging data and predictions regarding US economic health in the next two to three years.
Sponsors of the research included Baker & Tilly CPAs, United Airlines, MagnaCare, and TDBank. Results from the research will be unveiled at an invitation-only Crain’s event on December 8th and then used in early 2018 across various print and digital media brands.
