Dr. Tom Nelson is the Founder (in 1998) and President and CEO of Lodestar Advisory Partners. He is a versatile and highly experienced marketing and organizational performance researcher and strategist, consulting with clients in the areas of marketing performance measurement and ROI assessment, customer satisfaction and loyalty, brand and reputation management, internal brand culture and ‘employees living the brand’, innovation, and employee engagement and organizational effectiveness.

Earlier in his 30-year career Tom served as Managing Director – Brand Research and Performance Measurement at Interbrand, the world’s largest brand consultancy. He was also Chief Research and Consulting Officer at Opinion Research Corporation in Princeton, New Jersey, where he directed the Customer Loyalty, Brand and Reputation, Market Assessment, and Human Capital & Workplace Effectiveness Practices. Prior to ORC, he managed global customer and employee research operations for The Gallup Organization and began his consulting career at Walker Customer Satisfaction Measurements. Tom holds a B.S. in Psychology from Purdue University and a M.S. in Education (Organizational Development) and a doctorate in Institutional Research and Strategic Planning from Indiana University.
