Tim is a seasoned leader with extensive experience in the healthcare setting. He has conceived, managed, and delivered projects in pharmaceuticals, medical devices, and diagnostics including cardiovascular, oncology and neuroscience therapeutic categories. Also acting as Lodestar’s Information Practice Lead, he works with clients in making more effective use of business intelligence in all forms and integrating appropriate information management solutions into the firm’s overall services offering.

He has deep knowledge of the information content and technology space and his expertise ranges from managing scientific data to mining knowledge-sharing documents to gathering external competitive intelligence.

Tim has over 20 years of experience in leading information groups in the pharmaceutical industry, most recently with Merck, where he was the Head of Library Services in the Knowledge Discovery/Knowledge Management group. Prior to Merck, Tim was the Assistant Vice President of Research Information at Wyeth Pharmaceuticals, where his responsibilities including leading a group of 80 employees in six different information management functions: scientific data, records management, document management, literature and patent research, library services, and information strategy. Earlier, he was a Postdoctoral Fellow in cardiovascular pharmacology at Hoffmann-La Roche. He holds a Ph.D. in Pharmacology from the University of Rochester and a BS in Pharmacy from Albany College of Pharmacy.
