Background

Originally from Rome, Italy, Q moved to New York in January 1981 where he started his US career in 1981 with Sandgren & Murtha, a spinoff of Lippincott & Margulies. In 1985 he opened his own firm, MARQ Communications, and merged it with Interbrand in late 1989 to help start and then lead Interbrand’s Corporate Identity practice. He left Interbrand in 1994 upon Interbrand’s acquisition by Omnicom, spent a year consulting for FutureBrand and Enterprise IG, and then formed his own company again – BrandLink. In January 2005 he merged BrandLink with Interbrand, joining the New York Office as Executive Director, Brand Consulting. In October 2007 Q was transferred to the Paris office to help integrate the professional activities and methodologies of Interbrand’s eleven European offices in six countries. He returned to the U.S. in 2010 and joined Lodestar as Brand Practice Leader. Q attended the Rome University’s School of Economics, I.E.D. Copywriting School in Rome, and the School of Visual Arts in New York City.
